T-Pain - 5 O'Clock ft. Wiz Khalifa, Lily Allen

Revolver (stylized as Revolve?), is the fourth studio album by

Recording sessions for the album have taken place from 2009 to 2011.

T-Pain announced that the album

will be released on December 6 in the United States in an interview with Lady

Jade on the F.A.M.E. tour bus, concidentally this is the same release date of

his first album, Rappa Ternt Sanga back in 2005. At the end of 2009, and

throughout the early part of 2010, several singles were released from the

album; however, the poor chart performance of these songs caused them to re-

dubbed as promotional singles.

T-Pain initially denied that Jay-Z's song "D.O.A. (Death of Autotune)" would

put him off from using Auto-Tune, the vocal pitch correcting technology he

has frequently used throughout his previous work, he later confirmed that

there would be a higher presence of Auto-Tune on the album, and later

revealed he had stopped using the technology permanently and would rather use

his own new version of it, called the T-Pain Effect, after leaving Antares

Audio Technologies and signing with iZotope and using his very own "I Am T-

Pain" microphone. In June 2010, T-Pain confirmed that the album had been

completed and mastered, but that it will not be released until album sales

increase. T-Pain posted on Twitter stating he would release his PrEVOLVEr

mixtape when he gets 500,000 followers and release his album RevolveR when he

gets 1,000,000 followers.

"We Found Love" is a song by Barbadian recording artist Rihanna,

from her sixth studio album Talk That Talk (2011). The song features Scottish

singer-songwriter Calvin Harris. "We Found Love" was released as the lead

single from the album and premiered on September 22, 2011, in the United

Kingdom on the Capital FM radio station and was made available to download on

the same day.

The song's accompanying music video was directed by Melina Matsoukas and

how their addiction to each other results in the singer leaving her boyfriend

because of his possessive nature.

"We Found Love" is an electro house and dance-pop song. It also displays

elements of europop, pop, techno[18] and trance music. Glen Gamboa of Newsday

Rihanna's vocal range in the song spans one octave, from the lower note of

C?4 to the higher note of C?5. Priya Elan of NME commented that Rihanna

sounds "extremely relaxed" and Bill Lamb of About.com wrote that her vocals

are simple and unaffected. Leah Collins of The Vancouver Sun wrote that

Rihanna's vocals on "We Found Love" were similar to her own ones on "Fly".

Michael Cragg commented that the first chorus is almost being

sidelined in favor of a large chunk of Harris's riff, before they join on the

second chorus. The hook repeatedly rings throughout the song. In the second

verse, she sings: "Shine a light through an open door / Love and life I will

divide / Turn away cause I need you more / Feel the heartbeat in my mind /

It’s the way I’m feeling I just can’t deny / But I’ve gotta let it go".

light, funky guitar in the key of B minor.

The punchy guest

vocal from fellow judge Christina Aguilera is simply icing on the cake. There

is a real vocal chemistry between Aguilera and Levine." Lamb called the song

an "outstanding summer song", writing that "It is light, danceable, and would

sound great in the car with the top down." Robbie Daw from Idolator wrote

that "It takes a full two minutes and 15 seconds for Christina's soulful

pipes to begin trilling on "Moves Like Jagger."

Scott

Schelter from Pop Crush awarded "Moves Like Jagger" four-and-a-half out of

five stars. Schelter called the song "danceable and fun" and wrote that "the

song would've been great even without Aguilera, but her fiery cameo makes it

that much better." Robert Copsey wrote for Digital Spy: "Take me by the

tongue and I'll know you/ Kiss me till you're drunk and I'll show you," Ad

insists over a funky, finger-clicking bassline and an irresistible whistle

hook that immediately burrows deep into the recesses of your brain. "If I

share my secret/ You're gonna have to keep it,"

the album on 30 October 2011, the song became chart eligible in the UK and

entered the UK Singles Chart at number 14. To date it has peaked at number 2

on the UK Singles Chart. It has been met with positive reception from

collaborator Mat Whitecross. The band called Mat just a day before the

shooting and the video's concept was finished just hours before the director

traveled from London to South Africa.
